Sydney Conservatorium of Music graduate Emma Salisbury radiates a unique vision, developed via a surprising wealth of experience as a young creative. Having completed a Bachelor of Contemporary Music Studies majoring in vocals, her extensive travels around the world, as a singer/songwriter, producer, performer, stagehand, music journalist and mentor, have allowed her to make homes in New York City, Los Angeles, Miami and London.
Her highly sought after vocal timbre and natural ear for harmony, as complimented by the Con, has granted her gigs at the infamous Sydney Opera House, Australia, The Cavern Club Liverpool, England and a multiplicity of bars and restaurants throughout Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, Atlanta, London and Sydney.
Emma's vocals feature on an array of successful tracks, ranging genres of RnB, Soul, Folk, Hip Hop and House, and she continues to explore the current creative climate with upcoming global collaborations.
Emma’s words featured in Australia’s leading music publication where she worked as a music journalist for one year. The live gigs, album reviews and interviews were published regularly to both themusic.com.au and the print edition. Emma was also the Editor of The Gig Guide.
With her zest for travel and live music, Emma has gained experience as a stagehand for an abundance of artists and venues throughout London and has worked as the marketing assistant and featured artist support for touring Australian music festivals.
Emma has also worked as a mentor, teaching music to young Indigenous students in holiday workshops. Her ability to relate to the artist enables her to nurture and bring to fruition their individuality and talent, realising and achieving their full potential. Emma also assisted in the creation of an up and coming artist platform, liasing with the founder, developing the mission statement and writing the website, bios and blogs.
With over a decade of experience working an assortment of festivals and venues throughout New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Sydney and London, Emma’s interpersonal skills and ability to cater to the needs of a plethora of people come naturally.
Emma founded Salisbury Records in 2023 and released a song every month in 2024 - writing, recording, producing, mixing, mastering, creating cover art and making music videos, while becoming a full-time performer.
